Exploring those places is for the most adventurous people because we never know what could lie ahead of us, many places are just crumbling apart.
Moreover, please always be safe and wear proper gear and observe these important rules :
- TAKE ONLY PICTURES
- LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS (At most)

INTRODUCTION

Wherever you go in Japan, you will see them. Old, decrepit building lying there, abandoned. Noone gives a damn about those here but sometimes, the interested eyes of a foreigner can see something interesting about or in them. We call those places "Haikyo".
Exploring and finding new places is not hard, just walk around any city in Japan, especially in the countryside.
While many popular places which used to be attractions are pretty well documented on the Internet, there are plenty of places with barely any interest that are barely or aren't noted anywhere on the web.

ITO SUIMEISOU 伊東水明荘

Not noted on any website whatsoever, except a very brief mention here, this gigantic hotel complex stands on the left bank of the Matsukawa river not far from Minami-Ito train station. You can spot it easily by walking along the river.
